The Story

Every page has a history. Now readers can see it.

On a wiki or knowledge base page, readers often want to know whether the content is current and who's behind it. SharePoint's version history isn't built for them. Page Authors shows who last edited a page and when, in a simple design that feels at home on a SharePoint page, without exposing draft updates readers shouldn't see.

It works best in the semi-structured parts of an intranet, where many people contribute to the same pages. Visitors see recent edits straight away, and when a page has had lots of them, they can open the expanded panel view to explore every previous update.
